Fall Decorating: Owls

What could be cuter for fall decorating than a flock of teal-colored owls?
My sister sent this photo to me the other day.
These would be perfect for decorating here in Virginia
because there is a choice between what look like
Great Horned Owls and the Barred Owls:

In autumns past, I've decorated with a few black crows,
but owls would be a fun change.
I was looking around on the internet and saw some really cute owl motifs.
Here are a few of my other favorites:

Plow and Hearth has a fun table-top decoration of 3 owls
doing the old "speak no evil, see no evil, hear no evil" thing:

HGTV  gets into the act with this row of wise owls
decorating a porch railing:

I love these owls made of corrugated cardboard:

I would guess these look simple but probably take a bit of skill.

Pottery Barn has some really cute owl hanging lanterns:

Owls must be the thing this fall. I've seen them on pillows and dishcloths,
as stencils and stickers,
as lanterns, candle holders, and free-standing decorations.
And something else...
I'll share what that is with you tomorrow.
