Driving a couple of shires away from my own,
I passed by fields of light blue wildflowers.
At first I thought I was seeing chicory in bloom,
but these flowers massed together
to create clouds of light blue.
Could the blue flowers be Virginia blue bells like these?
Blue flowers in green grass,
green grass under blue sky.
Do we need anything more?
