Happy St. Patrick's Day!
The arrival of St. Patrick's Day in March
gives us a good reason to celebrate
that sometimes uncomfortable interval between winter and spring.
We can dream of emerald green landscapes,
fields of shamrocks,
and smiling Irish eyes.
It's such a fun holiday,
it makes me glad I'm part Irish.
Of course on St. Patrick's Day,
they say everyone is.
So celebrate the day as you will,
but don't forget:
