Watching the Fig Tree 2

The fig tree has made amazing progress lately.
Here it was a few weeks ago, in mid-Feburary.

Last weekend I noticed that a few green curled leaves and
tiny green figs had appeared.
The fig is the little round ball. Its shape reminds me of a hot air balloon.

 With the warm temperatures this week,
the leaves have begun to fully open. That seems very rapid progress to me.
 The leaves aren't as visible in the last photo,
but the blue sky is so dazzling for March, I thought I'd include it.

Tomorrow I'll show something interesting
I noticed about the roots.
