Yesterday, the gray skies disappeared,
cast aside by rays of warm sunshine.
February sunshine.

Of course, today the gray rain returned
along with another blanket of winter's chill.
But it's good to stop and remember
that even as the snow falls
and the winter wind swirls around us,
that somewhere we can't see,
spring is stirring.
